My first impressions about the book
First, I have to say that I find this book very attention-grabbing. To start from the end was an unusual move of the writer. Therefore, lots of questions have been raised. The rest part of the book is somehow explanatory, but it goes deeper to the heart of the characters and their problems since the aim is to penetrate into their psychology, to make us understand and become acquainted with social circumstances in India in the second half of the 20th century.

What are some of the questions that you thought of while reading from the "end" of the book (meaning the beginning)?
